Headliner: Reneé Dominique

Songs for Shelter features Universal Music Germany recording artist Reneé Dominique, a young international artist and global advocate for homeless youth known for her YouTube channel.

When I was young, and an only child, I was seeing kids begging on the streets. It made me very sad and I asked my mother if we could bring them home with us. One night while in our car, I saw 2 young teens wiping our windshield, holding an empty can and asking for coins to feed their family – I burst into tears. It was then I told my Mom that I would want to do something for these children, maybe even build an orphanage someday. And now, I am able to do something about this and make a real difference. On Nov. 13, I will be joined with some special friends – Rebecca Jade with her band Cold Fact, Cedrice Ce and The Lyrical Groove – and we are singing and raising money so that all kids have a home.
