Jacob Tyler began his love for music and performing at the young age of 3 performing on our piano at home for friends and family or whomever would listen. By 4, Jacob Tyler, attended The Academy of Music, learning piano, drums and taking vocal lessons. At 5, Jacob Tyler had the privilege to meet and take lessons from visiting Conductor, Maestro James Judd, who tested him and said, Jacob has perfect pitch.

2008 & 2009 Jacob Tyler has competed at the Los Angeles Music Festival for the Mission Bay Montessori Academy’s Chorus & Band. At 7 years old he won best junior vocalist for his solo in “Hallelujah”. The next year Jacob Tyler won Best Junior section leader Drums/Percussion. While at MBMA, Jacob Tyler was in several school plays. Lead Actor in, Disney’s “The Lion King” (Young Simba) and Lead in, Lionel Burt’s “Oliver” (Oliver). Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (CAST) and Disney’s Mulan (Stage Production).

In 2010, Jacob Tyler was honored to be chosen to perform with and was the youngest member of the, One World Choir, who had performed for the Koyto Prize, with Maestro/Conductor Puck, San Diego Symphony Summer Pops Concerts and the Korean International Awards Ceremony.

Jacob Tyler attended School of Rock San Diego (2009-2011), where he was lead drummer/percussion. He had performed with the SOR Band for their album cover concert series, such as, Beatles “White Album” Concert, Smith’s V’s The Cure Concert, Almost Famous Concert, Pink Floyd’s “The Dark side of the Moon” and “The Wall”. In 2011 Jacob Tyler was recruited by Rock & Roll San Diego, to perform with their Main Stage Band. It is there where his renewed passion for the Keyboard/Piano & Keytar began. Until today, Jacob Tyler continues to attend RRSD and perform all over San Diego County.

In 2011-present, Jacob Tyler had been invited to perform solo at many venues in San Diego County including House of Blues, Hard Rock Café San Diego, San Diego County Fair – Main Coors Stage, Le Stat’s on Adams Ave, OB Street Fair – Rock & Roll Stage, Revolt Summer Surf Series, Rock & Roll Marathon, OB Farmers Market, Wave House, Bates Wine & Beer Festival, Adam’s Ave. Art Festival and many other private parties and venues around San Diego.

Now at 13, Jacob Tyler is a 7th grader at the Award Winning, San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA). Vocal training for Jacob Tyler is under the watchful eyes of Karyn Overstreet Vocal Studio in San Diego. Through the summer, Jacob Tyler wrote, recorded and Copyright his first song “Make This Party Last” as well as 4 other cover songs which are available. He currently in negotiations with Producers with Big Mama Earth to be the new lead singer/performer in their band.   FB/Jacobtylermusic
